The text from "Libera Me, Domine" comes from the Roman Missal, and is sung during a Requiem Mass, or Mass for the Dead. This arrangement is intense and driving, pleading with God to deliver us from HIs day of judgement and wrath. Well known Libera Me's include the Faure, Verdi & the Durufle.
