Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China Local Anthem for Brass Quintet

US$6.99

Hong Kong does not have its own official national anthem. As a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, it officially uses the national anthem of China, "March of the Volunteers". The Hong Kong SAR National Anthem Ordinance protects and promotes its use.
While "March of the Volunteers" is the official anthem, the song "Glory to Hong Kong" gained popularity as a protest song during the 2019-2020 demonstrations, and is sometimes referred to as an "unofficial national anthem" within the context of those protests. However, it is not officially recognized as the anthem of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong government has taken steps to ban the song, citing concerns about national security.
